Frequently Asked Questions
My organization is not a band. Can we still set up an online newsstand?
Yes. Although our focus has been to serve bands, other groups and individuals may sign up for
a newsstand. However, only marching-related organizations will be listed on the SupportTheBand.com site.
How often are commission payments mailed?
Commission checks will be mailed to your organization monthly.
Balances under $50 are carried forward.
I want to click into a different band's newsstand, but my web browser seems to "stick" in the first newsstand I visited. How can I change this?
When you enter a newsstand, a "cookie" is set in your web browser. The cookie simply remembers which band's newsstand you were visiting.
To properly view another band's newsstand, delete any cookies named "magazines.com". You can do this through the preferences window of your browser.
